One of Gujarati cinema’s most celebrated romantic classics, Mein To Palavde Bandhi Preet, is making a grand return to the big screen after 21 years. The film, which created history with its remarkable box-office success and Silver Jubilee run, will be re-released across cinemas in Gujarat on July 17 in a fully restored and technically upgraded version.

The makers have confirmed that the film’s original story, characters, dialogues and emotional essence remain completely unchanged. Audiences will experience the same heart-touching love story they cherished years ago, now presented with state-of-the-art digital restoration, high-quality digital imaging (DI), color correction, and Dolby-quality sound, offering a richer and more immersive cinematic experience.

Story, Screenplay, Dialogues & Lyrics by Jashwant Gangani, who also directed and produced the film,co-producer D.K.Dankhara with Raj Gangani serving as Executive Producer. Upon its original release, the film broke several box-office records and celebrated Silver Jubilee runs in numerous cities across Gujarat. It also achieved a historic milestone by running to packed houses for more than 155 consecutive days at Shree Ram Multiplex, Deesa, earning a unique place in the history of Gujarati cinema.

The film featured performances by Hiten Kumar, Raj Laxmi, Jayendra Mehta, Devendra Pandit, Ashok Kumar Beniwal, Dinesh Lamba, Gemini Trivedi, Rekha Parmar, Charuben Patel, Mahesh Rabari, and Hansa Lakod in prominent roles, all of whom delivered memorable performances.
