Danilo Xavier Carrera Huerta, known simply as Danilo Carrera, was born on January 17, 1989, in the vibrant city of Guayaquil, Ecuador. A natural talent with an inclination towards the arts, Danilo’s journey to becoming a multi-talented actor, model, presenter, and footballer began at an early age.

First Steps into Acting
Danilo’s acting career commenced in Miami, where he honed his skills in the local theater scene. His debut role was in the production Crónicas Desquiciadas, which laid the foundation for his subsequent ventures in the entertainment industry.

Relaciones Peligrosas (2011)

In 2011, Danilo’s big break came when he was cast in Relaciones Peligrosas, a popular telenovela aired on Telemundo. Portraying the charming but spoiled Leonardo “Leo” Maximo, a rich and handsome young man, Danilo captured the audience’s attention. His remarkable performance in this role earned him the coveted Mejor Actor Revelación (Best New Actor) award at the Miami Life Awards.


Grachi (2011-2012)

Soon after, Danilo’s talents were recognized by Nickelodeon, leading to his role as Axel Vélez in the hit series Grachi. As Axel, a mischievous yet well-meaning witch, Danilo showcased his ability to play both the comedic and dramatic aspects of the character.
