Many women have benefited from this promise made by BJP. But the government has now expanded this scheme further. In such a situation, some changes have been made so that now more women can take advantage of it.
Big change in Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana
New rules have been updated regarding Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana, which was started last year. Due to which now women from families with annual income of more than 1.5 lakh are also going to get this scheme. Actually, recently a cabinet meeting was held on 1 January 2026. Where some new changes have been approved in the scheme. This time this scheme has also been linked to children’s education and their health. In fact, if the children get good marks in studies and their health also improves, now the mothers of those children will also be able to get the benefit.

According to the government, now Rs 2,100 will be given to women in two parts.
Rs 1,100 will be credited directly into the bank account of the female beneficiary.
The government will deposit the remaining amount of Rs 1 thousand in FD-RD, so that it can be received further with interest.
Let us tell you that, if the beneficiary woman dies suddenly, this amount will be given to the nominee, according to the report, the benefit of this scheme can be availed only for 5 years. Let us tell you that the government itself will tell when this money will come into the bank accounts of women.
These new changes took place in the scheme
- Officially, new changes have been made in this scheme. Now those women whose families have an annual income of Rs 1.80 lakh will also get the benefit.
- Women from families with annual income less than Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand, whose children are studying in government schools,
- If they perform well in studies and score more than 80 percent marks in 10th or 12th, their mothers will be given the benefit of this scheme.
- If a woman’s child is malnourished or suffering from anemia but her health improves, then their mothers will also get Rs 2,100.
- Mothers of children having education level from 1 to 4 (under Nipun Mission) will also be able to avail this scheme.
- Rs 1,100 will be credited directly to the women’s bank, Rs 1,000 will be deposited by the government in RD/FD, so that the beneficiary can also get interest in future.

These women will not get the scheme

- The woman must be a citizen of Haryana state or must have spent 15 years in this state
- The minimum age of women should now be 23 years
- Government employed women cannot avail benefits
- The recipient of old age pension should not be a woman
- Even widows and disabled women will not be given the benefit of this scheme.
