Delhi-based social activist and visionary leader- Neena Goel has officially entered the entertainment industry with the registration of her film banner, Cinematic Universe, under the Indian Motion Pictures Producers’ Association in Mumbai. This strategic move marks not just a creative expansion, but a purposeful evolution of her long-standing mission to inspire society through meaningful and value-driven storytelling.

Globally recognized as the Founder and Chairperson of Hamaraa Mission Dignity (HMD), a non-profit organization established in 2017, Neena Goel has consistently worked towards the welfare of underprivileged children, senior citizens, environmental causes, and hunger eradication. Her initiatives strongly emphasize girl child education and social empowerment, earning her numerous prestigious accolades, including the Rashtrapati Award (1995), Mahatma Gandhi Excellence Award 2023, Women Warrior Award 2024, and Padam Seva Puraskar 2025. Her organization has also been honored by the World Book of Records, London, for its impactful contributions.

Extending her social mission into the cinematic space, Neena Goel’s journey in the entertainment industry reflects a steady and meaningful progression. In 2018, she has participated with ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati?’ on Star Plus, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, during a child special episode, marking her early presence in mainstream media.

Over the years, her involvement deepened as she began supporting socially driven film projects through her NGO. In 2022, she appraised ‘Naar Ka Sur (2022)”, a film aligned with her vision of impactful storytelling, and was honored during its premiere by Kiran Bedi, along with the Kenya Ambassador and several political dignitaries, for her social contributions.Continuing this journey, in 2023, she extended her support to Jashwant Gangani’s film My Best Friend Daadu (2023), further strengthening her connection with meaningful cinema.

In 2025, her support expanded further as she contributed to producer Daivata Patil’s women-centric film Asha (2025) as an NGO partner, supported by HMD. This journey culminated in the official launch of her own film banner, ‘Cinematic Universe’, under IMPPA, marking her formal entry into film production.
