Ashvin Borad Receives Prestigious Award at Filmfare India International Film Festival (FIIFF)
Renowned Ashvin Borad was honoured with the Best Digital Marketing , IMDb & Wikipedia Contribution Award at the prestigious Filmfare India International Film Festival. The grand ceremony took place on 30 April 2026 at the Nehru Centre in Mumbai.

Expressing his gratitude, Ashvin Borad thanked the organisers of FIIFF for recognising his contribution to IMDb and Wikipedia. He also extended special thanks to the organiser Vikrant More for this honour. The award was presented by Sohaib Farooqui, Senior Journalist and Chief Sub Editor at The Times of India (NBT), making the moment even more memorable.
FIIFF is widely regarded as a global platform that celebrates the magic of cinema, bringing together visionary filmmakers, talented artists, and cinema enthusiasts from across the world. The festival continues to promote creativity, innovation, and meaningful storytelling by recognising outstanding films—from independent projects to large-scale cinematic productions.
Alongside the festival, the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Puraskar of India (2025–26) was also organised, honouring exceptional talent and contributions to Indian cinema. Notably, this segment of the event was dedicated to women, recognising their achievements and impact in the industry.
The event witnessed the presence of notable personalities including Iulia Vantur, Joe Rajan, Eraam Faridi, and Naunidh Singh, along with dignitaries from the Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association. All awards were presented by IMPPA Vice President Atul Patel.
Ashvin Borad also acknowledged Neena Goel, Delhi-based NGO Founder of Hamaraa Mission Dignity (HMD), as a major source of inspiration, recalling her motivating words about staying dedicated and working with honesty. He credited her encouragement as a key factor behind his achievement.
The event was supported by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) and NITI Aayog, further adding to its significance as a prestigious platform celebrating excellence in cinema and digital contribution.
